Hercule et Iolaus ont pour mission d'aider un village, composé d'hommes uniquement, terrorisé par des Amazones. Alors que les deux héros s'approchent du village de celles-ci, ils sont attaqués et Iolaus est tué. En outre, Héra, la belle-mère d'Hercule, s'empare du corps d'Hippolyte, la reine des Amazones, afin de supprimer le demi-dieu...

Hercule part à la recherche du royaume oublié. En chemin, il aperçoit une sinistre mise en scène : sur un autel, une superbe femme, Deianeira, est en passe d'être sacrifiée aux dieux. Hercule vole au secours de la beauté et parvient à la sauver. Ensemble, ils s'enfuient. Elle l'accompagne dans sa quête de Troie, le royaume oublié...

Héra a volé le feu que protégeait Prométhée. Sur toute la Terre, les foyers s'éteignent un à un. Hercule doit trouver la Torche éternelle afin de rendre le feu aux hommes...

Hercule vit paisiblement depuis quelques années en compagnie de sa femme, Déjanire, et de leurs enfants. Mais la jeune Iole vient lui demander son aide : son village est en train de mourir asphyxié par des gaz émanant d'un énorme trou creusé par Héra et relié aux monde des Enfers...

Hercule et Iolaus descendent dans un souterrain labyrinthique, sous un village, où se cache le Minotaure, un être mi-homme mi-taureau...

Héra souhaite gouverner l'univers. Dotée de la pierre de Chronos et soutenue par les Titans, Hercule et Xena auront bien du mal à la battre. Mais ils peuvent compter sur l'aide de leurs fidèles compagnons, Lolaus et Gabrielle...
