Overview
מלחמה גרעינית הרסה את העולם. מאז חיים בני האדם במושבות השוכנות בספינת חלל, גבוה מעל פני כדור הארץ הנגועים ברדיואקטיביות. אולם לנוכח הגידול באוכלוסייה והמשאבים המידלדלים במושבות הללו, מחליטה הממשלה שיש לחזור ולהתיישב בכדור הארץ. לשם כך נשלחים מאה נערים, שחייהם חסרי ערך בעיני החברה, למשימה המסוכנת: ליישב את כדור הארץ הנטוש. הנחיתה קשה. הנשלחים מגיעים לכוכב הארץ הפִּראי והיפהפה שאותו ראו רק מן החלל. בעולם החדש והשומם הזה, הצופן בחובו סכנות, הם נאבקים כדי לייסד חברה אנושית. אולם הם לכודים בעברם וחרדים מפני העתיד. כדי לשרוד עליהם ללמוד שוב לבטוח בזולת ואפילו לאהוב.
