Overview
Ichabod Crane herää kuolleista 250 vuoden jälkeen, ja hänen täytyy ratkaista Yhdysvaltojen perustajaisien ajoilta juontuva mysteeri. Vallankumouksen ajan taistelukentällä langetettu veriloitsu herättää henkiin Cranen lisäksi pahamaineisen, murhanhimoisen Päättömän ratsumiehen, joka alkaa vuodattaa verta nykyhetken Sleepy Hollow'ssa. Ichabod tajuaa joutuvansa toimimaan nopeasti, sillä päätön ratsumies on vasta ensimmäinen maailmanlopun neljästä ratsumiehestä.
