Discuss Lassie

Well, many of these credits are accurate, but TMDb needs a little more research for some of the others.

For example, Jan Clayton is listed here with only one appearance, whereas she headlines the show along with George Cleveland, Tommy Rettig and Lassie for its first three full seasons, as well as part of its fourth.

Richard Garland portrays Constable Clay Horton in many of these early episodes, whereas TMDb doesn't list him at all.

Leachman plays the second matron, in season four, but only has one citation here.

Lassie is played by a string of descendants of the original collie, so that's okay if she's classified as a single actress although this series' central figure.

Hi there, if you have access to the episodes, feel free to correct any mistake. The regular cast for each season are here: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/5368-lassie/edit?active_nav_item=regular_cast and the guest stars for each episodes are over there: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/5368-lassie/season/1/episode/1/edit?active_nav_item=guest_stars

Thank-you, Banana Moderator.

Well, the original "Lassie" television series runs 19 seasons, from 1954 through 1973, so there would be cast changes among its regular except for Lassie, herself, although she doesn't act through the entire series because her descendants step in, one after another, wherever some leave off, and also she is played by a male collie, which only begins the confusion because in more than one season, s/he delivers puppies, and the human casting becomes even more complex over the years for quite a few reasons.

Appreciate your consideration!
