Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs wird der Passagierdampfer "Goliath" von einem deutschen U-Boot versenkt. Teile des Schiffsrumpfs bleiben luftdicht, und einige Passagiere und Besatzungsmitglieder überleben. Im Laufe der Jahrzehnte bilden sie eine streng geregelte Gesellschaft, die von der Außenwelt völlig isoliert ist, bis in der Gegenwart ein Taucherteam beginnt, das Wrack zu erforschen.

Un buscador de tesoros submarinos, descubre un barco llamado Goliath, hundido por un submarino alemán durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, 40 años atrás. Para sorpresa de todos, hay supervivientes que, gracias a un ingenioso medio que les permite obtener oxígeno del agua del mar y conseguir electricidad gracias a las algas, consiguieron vivir en el interior del barco.

Un equipo de científicos descubre una comunidad submarina secreta dentro del naufragio de un transatlántico que se hundió durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

During World War II the passenger liner "Goliath" is sunk by a German submarine. Portions of the ship's hull remain airtight, and some of the passengers and crew survive. Over the decades they build a rigidly regulated society completely isolated from the surface world until, in contemporary times, a diving team begins to explore the wreck.

Seconda Guerra Mondiale. La nave passeggeri Goliath viene affondata da un sommergibile tedesco. Decenni dopo, una nave oceanografica identifica i resti del transatlantico sul fondale dell'oceano, a una profondità di circa 300 metri dal livello del mare: lì si trovano circa 300 superstiti, che vivono nei resti del Goliath miracolosamente intatto in una società con regole e leggi proprie.
