Let's keep it real and be real here. I like the show a lot, but it's not as good as people are raving it is, especially last week's courtroom drama. It's good but not as good as people are exaggerating it to be. .

Well it's certainly not BrBa, but the shows are worlds apart, despite overlapping universes. Better Call Saul is just short of a masterpiece so far, it does have some peaks and valleys, but it's mostly steady full steam ahead and that's been my opinion that the peaks are very well worth any valley or bits of filler/canon, which I find very little of whatsoever anyway.
It's all subjective though of course to it's audience and opinions will fall all over scale. Like whereas me, I relished that courtroom drama scene, I loved every second of it because I'm so invested into the storyline and the characters. It was a flawless episode imho and it got the deserved recognition with an IMDb score of 9.8/10 for the episode 5. I don't think people are exaggerating, I genuinely and truly loved ep5 and a 10/10 was a lock for my vote, no exaggeration involved.
You also have to understand that when I'm looking for TV show's latest episodes that sometimes I will literally pass up and over 100 shows that I wouldn't watch unless you paid me $50/hr to watch before I get to finally find my show , and obviously from my raving this is one of them, one of the few. So it's a wild and unpredictable subjectivity that TV series carry, much more than the film industry I'd think. But it's cool not to be all in, I watch plenty of stuff where I'm more so killing time than actually really enjoying myself and being highly entertained like when I'm watching a great Better Call Saul episode
So it's cool to be any level of fan or to hate it if you actually watch it and find reason to judge it so. Most of what I watch in media I consider as under or overrated , about half I'd say. Anyway, it's forever been and always will be different strokes for different folks, a term which I just happened to look into how, when, and in rare cases, who coined the phrase which I've used dozens of times in type and or conversation.
ORIGIN: 1966 [quoting boxer Cassius Clay] "I got DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS.”—Great Bend Daily Tribune (Kansas), 11 November
Whether he maybe heard it before or not seems inconsequential due to the much more monumentous manner in which he delivered it to the world.

I don't know.. it's literally the only show I'm watching at the moment, and I get very excited for Monday nights. It keeps me on the edge of my seat when I watch it, and thinking about it, and talking about it with friends the rest of the week. I'm enjoying it at least as much as I ever enjoyed Breaking Bad, possibly more so. I don't think it's overrated at all.

Very true and I always find the episodes fly by so quickly. I get disappointed when the credits come on. Last week's epsiode was the best in the whole series. I really think this show is becoming a masterpiece like Breaking Bad.

No, I don't think it's overrated at all. It has become my current favorite TV show. The first season was just okay, but it has consistently improved and it's really picking up now. I like it almost as much as BB.

I was kinda thinking the same thing after catching e6 earlier today, I'd say damn close, too close or too tough to call, I would love to know people's opinion's of this show who are up to date on it that have not seen BrBa, but finding one fitting that description would be tough, if not truly impossible.

I do look forward to watching it, and season 3 to me is much better. Two things have prevented me from putting it up on BB level: Chuck and Jimmy. Outside of that (but that's a good 50% of the story), most things do stack up to some level. I can say now that the only 3 things I look for that really float my boat are: BB characters (Huell, Lydia, Gus, Mike, Saul when Saul's Saul not Jimmy, and Francesca), the Flash Forwards to Cinnabon, and the crime stuff.
I really don't give two hoots about anything with Chuck, Jimmy, Kim, Hamlin, etc, although I do think it would be a good idea if they all fell victim to Gus or the crime at some point. I'd like to see Kim start doing meth at the least, but she'll more likely wind up in a ditch. Chuck and Hamlin just needed to go like 12 episodes ago...way overdue with them.

Not great but not terrible. I like it but it's not must see tv anymore on Mondays. I usually watch Gotham and I'll catch BCS in my on demand queue the next day.

Last few episodes have been really good. It's been trending upwards for me. I hate these mid season breaks with all these shows though.

huh-huhuh-huh
I think Chuck will be lesser of a main character in the future specifically when Saul Goodman emerges fully it may be a clean break, Chuck will be limited and Hamlin should NOW be very limited, I f'ing hate that stuffed prick. Howard needs to die a violent accidental death, like a carjacking gone wrong he does drive a $100k+ car. I don't want to see Kim smoking meth, I want her to succeed away from Jimmy, but the woman is taking on more than she can handle and yes the meth would get sh!t done faster, for a bit until it consumed her from within and destroyed her entire professional and personal life.
It's reaching toward a pretty epic season finale, there are only two episodes left in this the third season. This show is 10 episodes/year period no mid-season breaks. Quality over Quantity
