Claire in every new Netflix series mention dare devil but never actually calls him to help out. with Jessica it makes sense since dare devil's power is super hearing and the purple guy controls people by telling what to do. with Luke cage he was doing fine just waking into gang hideouts and destroying their shit. and even if dare devil was there at Luke's last fight I can't imagine he actually being that much help.

but WTF Claire? in iron fist you warn Danny how you "know a guy" who faced the hand and barely got out of it. you know dare devil took on the hand and kick major ass. like god damn you see him fight dozens of them at the same time and be able to walk a way(badly hurt sometimes but still walking). you seen him fight them when he couldn't even hear them(soo really blind) and still walk away. but when it comes to Danny needing to fight the hand you decide it's best that you a middle aged woman who had taken a few karate classes would be great back up for Danny.... not as a nurse but a fighter.

I kind of get that behind the scenes that they don't want them to meet before the defenders so it's a bigger deal when it happens but story wise it makes no sense. I mean luke and Jessica already know each other and considering that Iron Fist is facing the hand just like Dare Devil was last season. it just makes more sense to have dare devil run by and help out since he knows the bad guy and he is a great fighter.... at least better then Claire. also it would add more to the defenders first meeting up and make the transition easier.

and lastly Claire just overstayed in the iron fist storyline in general.
