Discuss Counterpart

I can't take the convoluted nonsense anymore. Seems like it's unnecessarily complicated and I get the sense that a resolution will be unsatisfying.

I was enjoying it until episode 3. I was a little lost in this episode as well and found it extremely boring. I might move onto something else.

Yeah, I don't see how this will ever have a 2nd season.

No one knows how the 'portal' got created. They 'experimented'. Yeah, right. Got to the end of the second episode, no plans going further.

I am not sure what the mission is. Indiscriminate shooting of people at that office. Why? I like the show, but still very confusing.

I finally got around to seeing this. They don't reveal the bad guy's plan because it's a mystery. The shooting at the office was just the start of what appears to be a much bigger plan.

But for me the plot is kind of secondary to the characters coping with living false lives as spies or living the lives of their "other", that's the best part of the show.

I loved it. Finally something that doesn't think the viewers are stupid, and talks down to them to explain the plot. Watch it, think for yourself, and figure it out - just like things in the "spy" genre should be. And it makes sense, which is the big fun: figure out the connections.

The explanation is given to Peter Quayle in a handful of simple, clear sentences in another episode.
