This content issue report is a reminder for all contributors who want to add language translations to this series here on TMDb!

There is one basic rule: Please don't add blindly the texts that your regional Netflix provides!

Why? All the info that Netflix provides for seasons/parts 1&2 is based on the international airing and cut of the show in 2017/2018. However, the show originally aired in Spain in 2017 on the network Antena 3 in a very different cut -> and we follow this airing here on TMDb! You can read more about all the differences here:

This means that all the contributed language translations here on TMDb have to be added according to the original airing in Spain. So -> you can do the following:

1.) Write your own texts and add them.

2.) If you want to use the texts from Netflix, you have to adapt and/or re-arrange those texts according to the original airing. You can use this overview that might be of help:

3.) You could translate the texts from already existing languages into the language you want to add. I'm not a professional writer and translator, but as of now, I adapted all the texts for Spanish, English and German (also, French was adapted and added by another contributor). The texts for these languages are complete, they should be correct (hopefully), and I locked all of them. For example, if you want to add episode descriptions for a language other than the one's mentioned, you can take a look at the following pages and translate the texts from

• Spanish: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71446-la-casa-de-papel/season/1?language=es-ES -> all texts are from the official Spanish website, but I shortened them a lot -> I don't speak Spanish myself, so there might be some mistakes in it.

• German: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71446-la-casa-de-papel/season/1?language=de-DE -> all texts are written by myself -> my native language is German.

• English: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71446-la-casa-de-papel/season/1?language=en-US -> all texts are a mix of my own German texts translated and the official English texts from Netflix -> I'm not a native English speaker, so there might be some mistakes in it.

• French: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71446-la-casa-de-papel/season/1?language=fr-FR -> all texts are put together from the official French Netflix, done by contributor tertaa -> I don't speak French, so there might be some mistakes in it.

As of now, I did not check every single language translation for this show - I'm not sure when I find the time for that?
