Discuss The F Word

This American version of the British show THE F WORD is an F for FAILURE. The British version is FAR superior.

The American version, that debuted last night, is best described as a complete and utter mess. Ramsay is running around, as he loves to tell other people, like a headless chicken. We have two competing teams and other than a rushed introduction, we really don't care about them until the end, when the 'winner' is announced. And we don't care then either.

The fact this is live makes it even worse. The show desperately needs editing. First, Ramsay must have clapped his hands and/or slammed his fist into his other hand about 54 times during the hour. It's BEYOND annoying. Next, his conversations in the restaurant are nearly inaudible, drowned out by background restaurant noise. And lastly, his gag of dressing up in a fat suit to fool a former head chef was painfully unfunny, and reminded me of the worst skits from the old Candid Camera show.

This show better improve fast, or the F Word will definitely stand for FAILURE.
