I have really come to appreciate the styling in this show. Originally I couldn’t get past the over-the-top riches and glamour. But now I enjoy seeing all the beautiful outfits, hairstyling and makeup.

The set designs are pretty amazing, always with such rich colours and tone. It must be a dream job to work on this set choosing colours, props, locations, outfits. You can tell they put a lot of care and thought into each detail, no scene looks plain or haphazard. Update: I just started rewatching at Season 1 and the colours are not nearly as rich so that set design must come later. Maybe even season 2. I’ll have to pay more attention this time around.

Also the music. Not referring to the musicals but the music underlying all the scenes. What is that music called? The score? The soundtrack? It’s just the sound that goes along with the scene. It’s very well done and I’d miss it if it wasn’t there or if it wasn’t done as well. Having so many scenes in bangin clubs helps keep the beat.

Oh, and the food. The food always looks amazing. Surely it’s always in over abundance but consistently such scrumptious spreads.
