Discuss Acceptable Risk

The heavily female driven cast - the formulaic plot - the boo and hiss villains - the very poor acting - all conspired to make this series instantly forgettable. Why - after 25 years would people be killed for showing an interest in a plot of land? Why - when over two dozen children were obviously killed by untested drugs - did the resident staff not notice anything amiss? Why - when a teenage girl went missing from the home - were the grounds not searched? Why - would a company worth billions simply leave the evidence of the crime in an easily found septic tank it took three women approximately 3 minutes to discover? Why not dissolve the bodies in an easily obtainable acid? Always assuming the staff weren't looking of course. Why bring attention to it by going on a killing spree rather than removing the evidence? Absolute nonsense. The ending was unbelievably convenient - unless of course the hiss and boo villain faked his own death - and the heroine just had to be pregnant for some reason known only to the writer.
