Discuss Hidden

Oh God - another female driven police series where men are just shadows that flit about not doing very much. Everybody has a Welsh name and everybody speaks Welsh. I have lived in Wales all of my long life and have rarely met anyone who is called Mali - Cadi- Pryce - or Probert and the people who have spoken Welsh in my presence number just one. The usual troubled family relationships and a lot - I mean a lot - of walking and driving about (the outside driving shots were so poor and obviously done in the studio). I fell asleep during the first episode.

When I was younger I often quit some TV series after one or two episodes, and than after a few years I go back to them, and realize that I was wrong. "Hidden" sounds interesting to me... I'm not from Wales, so things like names or speech will not bother me. I will give this series a chance.

Good for you - I admit to being very impatient - I cannot stand long driving sequences - endless meaningful stares - in fact anything that takes longer than 10 seconds at the most - a goldfish has a longer attention span than I do !!! I think it has the potential to be interesting but I haven't got the stamina to find out!!

I understand of course, there are many tv shows where they drag a lot...and it's hard to stay calm and to keep focus. I often lose my patience when I watch "The Walking Dead" for example, sometimes noting happens in the whole episode...but I still watch it, because, for me, there are still more good things than bad ones.
