Discuss Cursed

It's not a good sign if you roll your eyes and cringe the entire first episode. Starting from inept characters introduction, chewed up stereotypical plot elements, embarrassing writing and even the production design is ridiculous. The clothes they all were are too damn clean, hello? The first episode is full of absolutely used and worn cliches of the genre, it was embarrassing to watch this crap. Wherever the writers of this pile of feces are going I don't like the direction. I will give it another episode but I already see this is not going to work out for me.

edit: ok, that's enough for me. The writing is absolutely horrendous.

Yet for some reason it has a high score..

Some people will rate paint drying with a high score.

I actually liked it. Granted it was a hard watch in the first several episodes while Nimue was in her I have superpowers therefore I'm a freak stage (which is a trope so overdone that I completely despise it at this point). However, once she got over that and stopped being completely useless I started to enjoy the show more.

Ouch! I didn't think it that bad, but it certainly isn't my favorite tale based on the Arthurian legends. Excalibur probably holds that title with The Mists of Avalon (books) close. I'm not a fan of Arthur's characterization, but boy is he easy on the eyes!
