after thunderbirds the producers did u.f,o. and space 1999 it would of been neat t, if they had tied continuity with all three shows

Actually, UFO and 1999 supposedly take place in the same Universe. Moonbase Alpha was SHADO's moonbase with major modifications. Apparently, by 1999, the alien threat to Earth has been dealt with. Thunderbirds and Stingray are supposed to be in the same Universe as well. Gordon Tracy is good friends with Troy Tempest.
