The first actor who played Mulcahy on the show

(See my other postings on this left-wing series!) George Morgan. He was in real life a native of Worcester, Ma. Not that far Lawrence, Mass. where I hail from. My sister had a friend who had a cousin taught by the guy who played Mulcahy on this show. For years I thought she was talking about William Christopher. Turns out she meant Morgan here and I finally figured that out.

He only played Father M in the pilot episode. Christopher joined the cast in the third episode, 'Requiem for a Lightweight'.
