Discuss Prodigal Son

In the closing scene, Martin says he was a good father but Malcolm was not a good son.

He decides to kill his son but Malcolm manages to turn the knife on his father who with glee says” I knew , we are the same”

WTH .. Martin since he was arrested 20 years prior has been torturing , twisting, fooling around with Malcolm ‘s mind with this “ we are the same “ crap.

It was self-defense but Martin once again screws with his son’s mind telling him “We are the same”

Why is he trying to destroy his son ?

There are lots of things I love about this series I recently found.

The father/son relationship between Gil and Malcolm

Love Jessica ...how she stuck her stiletto in that nut case’s ear at Claremont

How she kept her nerves , incapacitated Endicott, and saved Gil

How she growled at Vivian when she said she tortured and made Malcolm scream .. and then she kicked Capshaw’s a$$.

Edrisa’s crush provides "sweet " moments

I live Malcolm and Dani’s slow-burner.. she cares and believes in him .. I wonder if she would still feel the same if she knew what happened with Endicott, though?

This series is great and doesn’t deserve to end on a cliffhanger .. we deserve a third season ... to see where Malcolm’s journey ends : in the light or the dark.
