Samms is only back as Holly for a month (she’s already back home) so it’s a special short-term contract.
Wactor said his contract doesn’t expire until January so he will be listed in the end credits for a while.
Purl said she is done filming. I think Monday was her last scene.

Maybe Wactor will be given a new character to play.
Glad Kruse has been demoted. I considered him a very subpar actor, there was nothing at all engaging about any of his performances. Of course he'll probably become the next big primetime star, another David Hasselhoff or Mark Harmon type who can't really act but has that all-American vibe that producers can build a hit show around.

So does being on a contract through January mean that Johnny Wactor still gets paid through January, even if he's not appearing?
The flip side of it is the guy who played Oz, a recurring character without benefit of a contract, is out of a job and doesn't get paid anymore.
That's the TV business for ya. :)

Are we sure that Rory is off contract? Maybe his name was left off by accident. I noticed that on the credits at the end of the Friday episode on Hulu, it says Evan Hofer as Evan Hofer (LOL) instead of Evan Hofer as Dex Heller. So they have been known to make mistakes with the credits.
