Peter Treherne is an experimental filmmaker and moving image artist working in the South East of England. He uses affordable cameras, ND filters, darkness, pixelation and duration to push the image to the point of dissolution.

Peter is also director of the Slow Film Festival. The festival focuses exclusively on slow cinema and annually screens work from emerging and established moving image artists and filmmakers.

Peter also holds a degree in English Literature from the University of St Andrews and a masters in Film Aesthetics from the University of Oxford.
