No. They are listed as separate movie pages on the Disney+ official site.

Note : I have hide your 2 other reports for the same thing.

On wiki and imdb they are listed as tv series as well. Also the recommended watch order don't work as a movie collection (since they have the same release date).

Wikipedia and IMDB aren't official sites, they are just user-editable sites.

They are listed as "episodes" and under the "show" section on: https://disneyplusoriginals.disney.com/show/i-am-groot

The official pages are here. Your link is just a promotional link.

The categorisation applied by disney is inconsistent: Rating TV-PG is clearly a categorisation for TV-Shows, not Movies.

And just using common Sense: you cannot be serious, classifiing this as a movie series?? Rocket and Groot-> 2 minutes length -> TV Show Hit Monkey -> 30 minutes length -> TV Show MODOOK -> 25 minuts -> TV Show Guardians -> 22 minutes-> TV Show But Rocket and Groot -> 2 minutes -> Movie Series??? No way!

TV-PG is a certification for everything on TV. It apply to TV shows and TV movies.

The classification is done by Disney+, not by us. We respect the broadcaster choice.

Stop posting this as films, they are TV shows!!!

The link to Disney+'s "official site" returns "Oops! We can't seem to find the page you were looking for." - a 404 by any other name.

We respect the broadcaster choice.

It looks like that in this case at least, the broadcaster chose to fix their error.

I can still see them as separate shorts on the Disney+ website.

Here are the 5 movies pages:

These pages are perfectly working and you can see in the URLs that they are movies.

Greetings, it appears that Disney+ has a consistency issue with the media under the heading of"I Am Groot".

Here are some examples: First entry is a result URL from the search bar (media info). The second entry is that URL's destination (to steam).

https://movies.disney.com/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania movies https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania/7OLRMMgd1vkx movies

https://movies.disney.com/marvels-guardians-of-the-galaxy movies https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/marvel-studios-guardians-of-the-galaxy/1S4WM9h3KRR6/ movies

https://ondisneyplus.disney.com/show/hawkeye show https://www.disneyplus.com/series/hawkeye/11Zy8m9Dkj5l/ series

https://ondisneyplus.disney.com/show/what-if show https://www.disneyplus.com/series/what-if/7672ZVj1ZxU9 series

https://ondisneyplus.disney.com/show/i-am-groot show https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/i-am-groot-groots-first-steps/4YcuPHl87ZEw movies

As demonstrated, movies are both referenced in their respective first and second entries, and show/series are referenced in their respective first and second entries. Except for "i-am-groot"; the first entry states that it is a show and the second entry states that it is in movies, breaking the consistent pattern.

Examining the format of release and type media of "i-am-groot", it follows the pattern of a series rather than being in movies. I cannot say for certainty why there is this lack of consistency; there also look to be more episodes coming which would be inline with a series. James Gunn's tweet

I hope the moderators can see this current issue on how "i-am-groot" is entered into 'www.themoviedb.org' in a manner that clearly shows that Disney+ has broken their consistent pattern and that it should be referenced as a "show/series".

Thank-you.

(yes i have a little too much time on my hands as today i had surgery on my hand [pinned], but i still think that the problem with "i-am-groot" is worth mentioning [typing this painfully slow with only my non-dominant hand])
