Discuss American Horror Story

It seemed to be everywhere, and I'm looking at the clock. There were parts that are redundant and or very familiar. Perhaps, I made it up in my mind. Where's my pill? pill

  1. Clowns are one of the REOCCURING themes
  2. I swear I saw that outdoor sex scene in front of the clown before on AH
  3. The political stuff was basic and Murphy needs to stay in his lane
  4. The nanny was sad about Trump and yet wants to ruin the liberal couple's child psyche.
  5. The DANG panic attacks.
  6. The DANG "hallucinations!"

That's all for now.

  1. When we first see the nanny bemoaning Trump's election, she's being sardonic.

I didn't get that -- at all. She even told the bf that he was trying to rub Trump's win in her face, while she was in tears.

With all the success of Roanoke did for the show to keep this train going, Cult just squashed that and the ratings tanked. I think I might watch one more episode and make the call from there.

Where is Archie Bunker when you need him???

This season is starting to blow, and on the first episode.

Sarah Paulsons character needs a stronger antipsychotic. Haldol shuffle time for her. No stigma, I just hate her new character massively.

I'm gonna call it -- this is the worst season of AHS. bomb bomb bomb

LOL!

It's like really, chick interrobang

I'm scared of pigeons. I see them up really close and it freaks me out. However, I'm not falling down screaming and running with bottles of rose. Heck, I'm not even on psychotropic drugs, and I'm fairing better than her.

  1. Clowns are one of the REOCCURING themes .... yes. because everyone is afraid of clowns ... right? I know they freak me out
  2. I swear I saw that outdoor sex scene in front of the clown before on AH ..... You did, in Freak Show but took place in the 50's or 60's
  3. The political stuff was basic and Murphy needs to stay in his lane .... I do agree. If this whole season is POTUS driven it will get old fast.
  4. The nanny was sad about Trump and yet wants to ruin the liberal couple's child psyche .... I took it as she lost a bet with her brother.
  5. The DANG panic attacks. .... I'm wondering if it is a PSTD situation - it's the only reason I can think as an excuse for the EXTREME of it.
  6. The DANG "hallucinations!" ... I don't understand why the kid would see the same figures in his hallucination as she did in hers. I can only imagine that the brother (Even Peters) set out,in disguise, to kill the neighbors ... but then I question the supermarket.

There is just too much going on, and it leaves the audience with nothing to understand. I mean seriously we need a foundation of facts. I'm getting tired of everything and the kitchen sink thrown at us like they did during Hotel.

This was indeed a slow episode..I'm hoping it gets better with time I'm very curious what the relation is between Billie Lourd and Evan Peter's characters is.

I agree with you - it is the kitchen sink. Two people I know in real life aren't thrilled with it either. I hope it gets better - I will keep watching because I have to see how it plays out. I just hope it becomes entertaining.

Worst one? That means you liked Hotel more than Roanoke. I am totally surprised at how some people liked Hotel more than Roanoke. The only thing I can say that I didn't like about Roanoke was the fact that they had to RE-ENTER the home. I thought they should have ended the season with a few lives spared but no. . .

Other than that, I think it was pretty good and a fresh look at the Franchise. Plus, the ratings were through the roof for Roanoke, which I had feared Hotel scared off a lot of people.

I said I will give this another shot, but I don't know. I haven't even been looking for it in the guide to make sure it's recorded.

Yeah they really aren't doing anything special this season. The clown cult isn't expanding, the politics talk are dry and nothing major seems to be happening. I don't think this show can lower. We need another asylum

With asylum, I felt a sense of hopelessness, because the characters were doomed. With that said, there was hope and a dang good story. This Cult is just vile. I don't care about the clowns, and I'm not scared by them. ESPECIALLY SINCE they used them before in another series.

I like to see something set at a hospital. Halloween 2 was good and if done right with freaky doctor's it could work perhaps
